What Can You Eat On Keto?

Posted by Josh Gape on

I've been getting a lot of people asking me what I eat, so I pulled together these infographics (scroll to bottom) to show the pool of foods I eat from.

I also recorded a full day of eating from this week, to demonstrate what a standard non-training day looks like.

Breakfast:

  • 3 Eggs
  • 50g Salmon
  • 50g Avocado
  • 20g Butter
  • APE Fat Pack Bar (Salted Cacao & Cashew Nut)
  • Coffee with 10ml APE MCT Oil

Lunch

  • 3 Beef Burgers
  • 50g Comte Cheese
  • 50g Olives
  • 30g 85% Dark Chocolate

Dinner

  • 150g Ribeye Steak
  • 70g Venison Liver
  • 50g Mushrooms
  • 40g Butter
  • APE Keto Fuel Bar (Maple & Roasted Pecan)

*The vast majority of the meat I eat is grass-fed, fish is wild-caught, dairy is raw and everything else is organic.

I appreciate this isn't realistic for everyone from a cost perspective but for me personally, putting the highest quality foods into my body is such a high priority. I prefer to spend my money on the best quality nutrition as opposed to clothes or meals out.

As Paul Chek says, your health becomes your greatest priority at some point in your life... you can either make it now on your own terms or have it blind side you later.

Next week, I've got another infographic coming to demonstrate how I work out how much to eat and how my macronutrient ratios change depending on if I'm training or recovering that day.

I hope this helps for everyone who's trying to dial in their keto / paleo lifestyle... please let me know if you have any questions in the comments at the bottom of the page.

Thanks,

Josh
