What is your policy on sourcing / ingredients?
We pride ourselves on sourcing the highest quality raw materials from farms that share our principles.
All the organs in our Nose-to-Tail range come from regenerative farms that rear their animals consciously and have the highest standards for welfare. All the cattle are 100% grass-fed and aren't exposed to hormones or antibiotics.
Our Medicinal Mushrooms and the coconuts that we make our MCT oil from are farmed organically and grown as nature intended, meaning they have high levels of the beneficial compounds they're known for and no chemical residues..
Our Celtic Oysters are sourced off the coast of Ireland in designated waters that are monitored weekly for bio-toxins and bacteria. As with everything that we do, they are harvested in a way that's as environmentally friendly and humane as possible.
I can't decide whether to get beef liver or the mixed organs - which do you recommend?
It depends on your specific requirements really... the Beef Organs contain a wider variety of micronutrients including some more unique nutrients like Selenium (great for immunity and thyroid function) and CoQ10, which is great for cardiovascular health. Whereas the Beef Liver contains less of a variety but the nutrients it does contain (Vitamin A, all the B vitamins, copper, etc) are in a greater density. Personally I usually opt for the Beef Organs as I have a history of poor heart health in my family and I generally recommend this to men over the Beef Liver as they need more heart support. Whereas for women I usually recommend the Beef Liver. That said, it might be worth trialing one and then the other and seeing which works best for you.
